About Eric Moore
I have always had an interest in martial arts. Even when I was little, I wanted to grow up to be a ninja turtle. In 1996, it was this thirst for training that had me researching martial art schools here in Edmonton. That research helped me to find a home here in the Bujinkan under one of Kevin Millis's students. Over the next couple years I would get to attend many seminars and learn what it meant to be a warrior. At a seminar in 1998, Kevin honored me with my first rank of Shodan.
Shortly after I received my Shodan, I started having problems with my health that kept me out of full time training for the next few years. Through the help of a naturopathic doctor I started my road to healing. It was while going to this doctor that I started wanting to learn more about how the human body worked. I started studying nutrition, herbal remedies, human anatomy... Little did I realize at the time that I was still studying things that are a part of our ninja training.
At a spring seminar in 2007, Kevin brought me under his wing as one of his own, and ranked me to Nidan.
In 2008 after conferring with my Friends at the Edmonton Ten Chi Jin dojo where was I was training, I was released to join with Nick and Natasha and begin learning what it means to be an instructor.
